The house has been lovingly renovated in simplistic style by the owner,
whose grandfather left the property to him. Kolivata is a lovely village
with many stone houses which have been lost in time (so to speak) but slowly
some of the properties are being brought back to life The old stone staircase leads to a minstrel gallery with roof sky light, making it very bright and airy. There are two bedrooms (approx 8' x 7') leading off the gallery. The property on a slight elevation & the rear door opens out onto a pretty courtyard with traditional old bread oven & stone steps lead up to a path which passes through the rear of the village.
Original
features such as old ceiling beams & stonework add to the cosy atmosphere of
the house. |
